The first full length release by New Indie Rock Artist Daniel Amedee. A completely unique combination of rock, choral, and orchestral sounds to create an album that stands apart on its own.

"Daniel Amedee is a New Indie Rock singer, songwriter, performer from New Orleans who has been creating music since he was fourteen years old. The songs written at this young age were inspired by the wonderful culture and heritage of New Orleans Jazz and street musicians performing in the world renowned French Quarter. As he grew a little older and lived through high school and college, finding his niche was the easiest part. Music production and composition were natural competencies that allowed in the conveying of broad thoughts like the developing human consciousness and resulting awareness that people are connected in the world through the ordinary idea of dreams, hopes, and love.
When Hurricane Katrina powered Daniel away from the city of New Orleans, he realized his chance to go after a genuine music career. He followed his gut and relocated to Ireland to live and play music around Europe. While he was there he focused on developing his writing and performance abilities, honing his music to a sound which was distinctly his own. In this time he met up with and played with numerous people and had the fantastic opportunity of recording with guitarist Noel Hogan of The Cranberries. After a few extraordinary years Daniel determined that the time had come to head back to New Orleans and use it as a base while touring the United States once more. When in the States Daniel met producer Charles Gonzalez in San Francisco. Charles, a fellow New Orleans native, was impressed by Daniel's tunes and planned to record his first full-length album "Themes From...". Without delay Daniel agreed and travelled to San Francisco in November of last year to begin recording. While there, many great artists lent their talents in making the album possible. Percussionist Patrick Spurgeon (Rogue Wave), violist Charith Premawardhanna (Mars Volta, Classical Revolution), cellist Steven Sparapani, trumpeter Max-Miller Loran (The Get-Back), and choral vocalist Megaga were an integral element in handing these songs the quality they possess. The songs made by Daniel Amedee are a distinctive mix of rock, choral and orchestral genres fused collectively in an unrelenting approach to the music at the moment. It's evident in his writing style that Daniel is not afraid to let loose his ideas on life, love, and the developing minds of the people around him. He carries the soul of Cat Stevens in his lyrics with a dynamic voice that can bellow low like that of Leonard Cohen or reach high like Elliot Smith. This is capped off with biting, epic music reminiscent of Arcade Fire. Fans of Sigur Ros will love this album"
